Grab your favorite iced coffee, pull up a chair, and let’s take a quick breather! Before we dive into the latest book updates and WIP news, here is a little peek into what’s currently fueling my desk, my mind, and my writing routine.
On My Desk:
I’m pretty old-school. I love physical things. Notebooks, calendars, books, etc. I’ve given digital calendars a shot many times before, but when it comes to work stuff, it just doesn’t cut it. So I got a little desk calendar. It’s cute, functional, and perfect for my work schedule. I don’t know why I never tried one out before, but I regret never having done so. I just wish I had prettier handwriting. 😂
What I Read:
Surprise! I am a life-long manga reader. I was the weird kid you went to high school with that likes anime and read Creepypastas. And later into my young adulthood, I discovered manhwas. So I will share with you what I am waiting every week for and devastated when they go on hiatus: Youth Report: 1995
This is so freaking cute. The angst never lasts long, it’s easy to read, and they’re such a cute couple. I have a habit of dropping manhwas when they start forcing the story to continue after the natural story should be completed, but with Youth Report, I’ve never gotten bored or felt the need to drop! Definitely give this one a read if you’re interested!

This month’s: I like true crime shows and podcasts.
I grew up watching Forensic Files and Homicide Hunter with my paternal grandparents every day after school and have carried that childhood fascination with me into adulthood. I have branched out to my favorite diva: Bailey Sarian. She’s cute, a great story-teller, and entertaining.
I do have to admit, though, that I have become more sensitive to this type of thing as I’ve gotten older and have to take deliberate breathers from true crime more often than when I’m listening to other creators, but I do find myself coming back to true crime at least once a month.
